About the Practice

Built by two people who grew up across the street from each other.

Post Psychiatry was founded by Dr. Jordon Post and John O'Brien, childhood friends who built it together.

The practice

Dr. Post leads everything clinical. He is the practice.

He sees every person who comes in. He writes every plan.

John runs everything else: the office, the operations, the systems that let a focused practice feel effortless to the people it serves. Boulder Practice Management LLC is the entity that supports the practice. He does not see patients, and he does not weigh in on clinical decisions. That separation is deliberate, and it's protected.

Why we built it this way

The most common failure of small practices is operational, not clinical.

Doctors get pulled into the day-to-day running of a business. The person in the chair pays for that: in waiting times, in rushed appointments, in details that slip. We wanted to build a practice where the doctor's attention isn't divided, and where the operations behind the care are genuinely excellent, the kind you never have to think about.

We're starting focused. One clinician. A clear set of services. A model we believe in.
